We will collect use and store your Identification Information, Contact Information and Delivery Information to register and create an account on https://microbit.org/thenextgen-registration/, confirm your school’s eligibility in the scheme and, if eligible, deliver the Micro:bit products to your school.

It is necessary for us to process your personal data in order to perform our contract with you, or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract with you.

We collect and use your Identification Information to verify your identity.

We have a legitimate interest in ensuring the verification of those applying on behalf of schools

We will collect, use and store your Contact Information to manage our relationship with you .

We have a legitimate interest in managing the registration process, ensure the eligibility of schools and provide the Micro:bit product to eligible schools.

We will collect your Contact Information and share your name and school e-mail address with the relevant partner to send you direct marketing in relation to their relevant products and services.

We will collect and analyse cookies in order to manage and operate the https://microbit.org/thenextgen-registration/ including to keep it updated and relevant, to develop our business and to inform our marketing strategy.

Please note that as part of BBC micro:bit - the next gen, for us to register and deliver the products to you, the provision of this information (name, school address, contact e-mail and number, headteacher name) is mandatory: if relevant data is not provided, then we will not be able to register your school for the scheme and deliver the products to you. All other provision of your information is optional.
