Webinars for primary teachers
This term we are running two free webinars for primary teachers and an online code-along for primary students - take part and take your computing lessons to the next level
Webinars for teachers
Getting started with the micro:bit
Tuesday 27 September, 4pm (BST)
Wednesday 23 November, 4pm (GMT)
A beginners guide to using the BBC micro:bit in the primary classroom. We'll cover everything you need to know from turning the micro:bit on to transferring student's code.
We'll answer your questions and show you where to find the resources you need to support your teaching.
If you are teaching primary computing and want to introduce physical computing for the first time, this is the session for you.
Data logging with micro:bit
Wednesday 16 November, 4pm (GMT)
Teachers, join this webinar to find out more about using the micro:bit to collect data on the world around you. We will cover the basics of data logging and how you can record data both manually and automatically using examples that map directly to classroom learning.
We'll also look at how to access and analyse the data so your students can be informed by the data collected.
You will need a micro:bit V2 to use the data-logging functions.
