micro:bit investigation activity pack
Introduce students to the features of the BBC micro:bit through an exploration of ready-made projects away from computers. Students are challenged to discover each project for themselves, and think about who might find them useful, then extend their thinking to other applications for similar solutions.
There are seven practical projects, including thermometers, automatic night lights and alarms and a guide to help you choose. The code for each project is in the 'micro:bit investigation activity HEX files' download - just plug a micro:bit into your computer and drag and drop the relevant project HEX file straight onto the MICROBIT drive.
The activity encourages young learners to apply their creative and critical thinking skills to technology and what they may already be learning about computing at school.
