Our project

We are students from a primary school in Agios Kirykos, Ikaria. One of the lessons on the micro:bit website was about emotions. We went straight to this page and started thinking about various emotions that the micro:bit could display. We then made two animals out of cardboard, a dolphin and a sea turtle, which had the micro:bit instead of a mouth. So, when the micro:bit laughed, the dolphin and the turtle laughed too. When the micro:bit was scared, the dolphin and the turtle were scared too, and so on.

Our inspiration

We all wanted to work on emotions, so we chose a topic that matches them. Since last year the teacher talked to us about sea pollution and we programmed the micro:bit to take measurements, we decided to work on this as well.
