Our project

An early water level monitoring system was developed using micro:bit. This system provides an affordable and effective way to alert about flood risks. It can help prevent natural disasters with early warnings, allowing for timely evacuation, and the implementation of mitigation measures. Additionally, this system can also be useful in agricultural environments to monitor water levels in crop fields or irrigation systems.

Our inspiration

The issue we found in our area is that it suffers from floods caused by rainfall in our country or rainfall from Brazil (Brazil has a tropical climate). This affects many parts of our beloved town, such as people living near the coast and certain agricultural areas. Our high school is located just four blocks from the coast, and the students who live around it are part of the flooded population. With this project, we aim to help these people in advance.
