Paolo is passionate about education and educational technology, and a true maker. Through his university electronics engineering study he developed educational tools in the field of digital electronics and coding suited for high school students. Along with the founders, Paolo has developed the educational projects of the Institute for Youth Development and Innovativity, where he works as Head of Operations.
Lucie is an instructor and a science communication coordinator for Kids Code Jeunesse. She graduated from a masters in Neuroscience during which she discovered the power of programming in the field of scientific research. Lucie loves sharing educational and entraining content on social media as much as going into classrooms to show kids how to express their creativity with code.

Adrian is Director of the Digital Literacy and Participation Division and Director of Innovation at the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA).
Adrian was formerly a Principal of Ngee Ann Secondary, a Ministry of Education Future School founded in 1994. The school has won widespread recognition, including as a Microsoft Pathfinder, Mentor and World Tour school. Adrian was educated at Harvard University's Graduate School of Education.
Sarah is the British Council’s Head of Digital Strategy. Sarah is a passionate advocate of finding digital ways to support quality education with strong social impact.
Mathematician and physicist, Juan completed his Ph.D. in July, and holds a postdoctoral position at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (ICMAT) in Madrid. He is the winner of the 2018 Spanish edition of FameLab, a science communication contest, and finalist of the international edition.
As the British Council Digital Director, Sally is committed to developing digital innovations to amplify the impact of the British Council’s work, particularly with young audiences. She also enjoys food, wine and regular running to compensate! Her mantra in life is to say yes to everything.
Anthony is a Physics lecturer at the University of Malta. He is best known for veering away from traditional lectures by turning them into mini science shows to explain complex theories using exciting props. He has taken his dynamic talks to science cafes, schools, conferences, national science festivals, the Natural History Museum in London and even a motorcycle showroom! He has recently won FameLab Malta, participated in FameLab International, won JCI European public speaking championship and shall be representing Europe at the JCI world public speaking championship in India.
Laura is the British Council’s Global Head of Content. Her teams work with colleagues in over 120 countries and 42 languages to create dynamic and useful digital experiences for the British Council’s audiences. Laura is particularly interested in closing the digital skills gap across the globe.
Melwyn is an alumni from the British Council’s FameLab competition. He is a Lead Technical Engineer at VALID Ltd, developing software for smart card (SIM cards and banking cards) and also the regional Director of Aeraccess, a company manufacturing drones. He has a BSc Hons In Computing from the University of Portsmouth and a certificate in Big Data Analysis from MIT. He also volunteers as an IT teacher for an NGO in his local area.
