Safety challenge

These resources revolve around the safety challenge. Students will learn about the UN’s sustainable development goals, focussing on safety and exploring what safety means to them and different children around the world. They will then go on the design & create their own solutions to this real-world problem before learning how to enter the global challenge.

Please read the introduction to the safety challenge before choosing a series of lessons to engage with, then return to complete the safety innovation challenge.

Non-communicable diseases challenge

These resources revolve around the non-communicable diseases challenge. Students will learn about the UN’s sustainable development goals, the Global Challenge and what is meant by the term ‘non-communicable disease’ (NCD), increasing their knowledge and understanding of how and why they affect children all over the world. They will then go on the design & create their own solutions to this real-world problem before learning how to enter the Global Challenge.

Please read the introduction to non-communicable diseases before choosing a series of lessons to engage with, then return to complete the non-communicable diseases innovation challenge.
