Comment participer

Using technology we want you to design and make a solution to a problem that affects you and your community or another community somewhere in the world.

Cela pourrait etre un dispositif qui reduira la quantite de plastique utilisee dans votre ecole. Or a solution that encourages people to look after the trees in their community. We've created resources to inspire you based on Goals 14 and 15 but you can work towards any of the Goals.

Quel que soit le probleme, nous aimerions savoir comment vous y prendre pour le resoudre. Utilisez votre imagination et soyez aussi cretif que possible!

To enter the challenge, you will need:

  • a written entry describing what your solution is for. Which Goal have you focused on? What have you created? Why have you created it? Who is it for and how will it help your community or another community? (no more than 500 words)
  • a paper prototype showing how your idea will work. This should be a photograph of your plans. Perhaps draw your solution with notes on how it will work
  • OR a .hex file of your prototype code
  • you can also include a video or photos of your project in action if you want to

You can code your device using the MakeCode block and text-based editor or the Python text-based editor.

If you don’t have a micro:bit you can still enter the challenge. Test your ideas using the MakeCode editor simulator and send us your paper protoype.
