India, get ready for your micro:bits!
The BBC micro:bit officially launches in India on Tuesday, 19th September at DIDAC INDIA in Mumbai … and if you’re dying to get hold of one, you’ll be glad to hear we have a host of new resellers who are eager to help. Visit http://microbit.org/resellers/ for more information.
The BBC micro:bit – a pocket-sized, codeable computer – is really easy to pick up and use with very little training, and can be programmed using a variety of free coding platforms on your PC, laptop or Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or tablet. You’ll also find heaps of free educational resources and projects to get you going at microbit.org.
We’re looking forward to hearing about all your BBC micro:bit projects, and we can’t wait to see what fantastic accessories – devices such as clocks, weather stations or even robots– the Indian community will share with us.
The possibilities are endless ... so get your micro:bit and get creative!
